The Vault Investigates: Calling 25 Anonymous Investigators to Build TruthDrop.io
Help turn scattered poverty‑fraud headlines into a living archive and investigation room.
Why The Vault Investigates exists
Money that is supposed to reach people in poverty keeps leaking into ghost NGOs, vanity foundations, and carefully branded frauds.
Most of the time, a single headline flashes by, gets buried under the next news cycle, and the story disappears before anyone connects the dots.
The Vault Investigates is my answer to that problem: a small, anonymous investigation campaign built around a working portal called TruthDrop.
The goal is simple: collect receipts, verify what we can, and build long‑term case files so important stories do not die after one article.
What the TruthDrop.io portal is!
TruthDrop is a private workspace, not a fan club.
Inside the portal we will:
Save and tag news stories, NGO reports, and public filings about poverty‑related fraud.
Build timelines so we can see how schemes start, evolve, and (sometimes) get exposed.
Track outcomes: arrests, lawsuits, repayments, quiet disappearances, or nothing at all.
The portal is designed for people who like documents more than drama.
If you enjoy reading primary sources, checking numbers, and asking “what’s missing here?”, you are the kind of person this space is for.
How the portal protects everyone
Anonymity comes first.
You do NOT need to use your real name; you can work under a handle inside TruthDrop.
Internal conversations and draft cases are treated as confidential working material, not social‑media content.
Sharing screenshots or half‑baked allegations outside the portal is against the contributor rules and can mean losing access.
This is also NOT a place to run personal vendettas.
We are interested in documented patterns of harm around poverty and aid—not in targeting ex‑friends, ex‑employers, or online enemies.
Who should apply (and who should not)
You might be a good fit if:
You are willing to read, think, and sometimes change your mind when new evidence appears.
You are comfortable saying I don’t know yet instead of forcing a hot take.
You care more about accuracy and safety than speed and clout.
This is probably NOT for you if:
You want instant answers, constant DMs, or personal consulting.
You mainly want a place to rage, quote‑tweet, or pile on.
You are looking for a shortcut to build your own brand off other people’s pain.
I will be inviting only about 25 people or subscribers of The Vault Investigates in the first wave so the space stays focused and safe.
How to apply and how support fits in
If you want to be part of The Vault Investigates:
1. Fill out this short application form (you can use a handle):
2. At the end, read and agree to the contributor agreement so we share the same ground rules.
3. I will review applications in waves and send invitations with access details to those who look like a good fit.
Access to TruthDrop for selected collaborators will be free.
If you are in a position to help cover tools, hosting, and some of the time it takes to run this, there is 🔍 🟠 TIER 2 — Archivist on Ko‑fi.
It does NOT buy influence over which cases we investigate or what conclusions we reach; it simply gives this work more fuel and stability.
If money is tight, stay on the free list and keep reading.
Your attention, care, and willingness to look closely at these stories already matter more than you know.
But if you are in a position where you can help keep this alive, here’s how to do it in under a minute:
Ko‑fi – small monthly help. Think of it as buying this project one coffee a month so the lights and servers stay on.
PayPal – once‑a‑year boost. If you’d rather do it once and be done, you can drop a yearly gift here that helps cover hosting and investigation tools.

None of this buys influence, access to sources, or a say in what gets covered. It just keeps an independent archive alive in a world where most of the big platforms are owned by the same people we’re investigating.
If you’ve already supported, thank you. If you can’t, don’t stress it—stay, read, and share. The point of this work is that people who have been played finally see the whole board.

Every applicant will be vetted for fit and good‑faith intent. TruthDrop.io is a working investigation room, not a gossip chat, and people who treat it like social media will not be admitted.”
