Why This Archive Exists
(and How to Keep It )
THE VAULT INVESTIGATES and TruthDrop.io are my attempt to keep receipts on the business of poverty—how governments, nonprofits, churches, and influencers turn other people’s struggle into content, contracts, and cash.
I’m a retired, disabled veteran on a fixed income, doing this without ads, sponsors, or corporate owners. That means no brand gets to lean on me if an investigation makes them look bad—but it also means the bills on this side are very real: hosting, tools, data storage, and the time it takes to read thousands of pages so you don’t have to.
I don’t want a gated, elite newsletter. Most of the people I write for are broke, underpaid, in debt, or carrying a whole family. That’s why the archive stays open. If money is tight, your job is simple: read, think, and pass it on to someone who needs to see it. That support is real.
But if you are in a position where you can help keep this alive, here’s how to do it in under a minute:
Ko‑fi – small monthly help. Think of it as buying this project one coffee a month so the lights and servers stay on.
→ https://ko-fi.com/thevaultinvestigatesPayPal – once‑a‑year boost. If you’d rather do it once and be done, you can drop a yearly gift here that helps cover hosting and investigation tools.
→ https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/JH4X7243NJMRENone of this buys influence, access to sources, or a say in what gets covered. It just keeps an independent archive alive in a world where most of the big platforms are owned by the same people we’re investigating.
If you’ve already supported, thank you. If you can’t, don’t stress it—stay, read, and share. The point of this work is that people who have been played finally see the whole board.
